Bird photography is most often associated with heavy SLR bodies that shoot at machine gun speed with long lenses nicknamed as 'Bazookas'. Show photographs of birds taken with compact cameras.
This thread was popular over on "that other forum" so I thought it might be fun here. People are going places again. Something for us Northern Hemisphere-ers in the dark days. The idea is to post a photo of a place and people try to guess the location and/or what it is (see thread title). First answer that satisfies the original poster gets to post the next photo. Hints should be given to keep things moving along. Bonus points for getting it right without google or looking at the exif (but of course the bonus points aren't good for anything but bragging rights anyway) This doesn't mean that you can't use google. You can lean a lot from google. If the winner doesn't have a photo to post right away then they can open it up for anyone to jump in and post one. OK I'll start it off with this one which should be pretty easy.
Classifieds Type Want to Buy Item Konica lens cap My Location USA Description Okay. I'm in search of a unicorn of a lens cap. I'm looking for the metal slip-on lens cap for the Hexanon 57mm f1.2. The filter thread is 62mm, so the inside diameter of the slip-on cap would probably be 64mm, maybe 63.5. Haven't found one on eBay, don't want a plastic slip-on, and don't want generic. Generic I got. I'd settle for a pinch-style Konica cap, but I dunno if there's one out there in 62mm. So, if you've got one in your odds & ends box, or if you stumble onto one in your travels, pleeeze let me know. Payment Methods Regular PayPal (seller fee included in price), Trade (no buyer/seller protection) Shipping Locations USA Shipping Methods [NOT APPLICABLE] Shipping Charge Handling Time References Additional Specifications (DID NOT ANSWER QUESTION) I have read and agree to the Cameraderie Classifieds Buy and Sell rules.
