Really like these, two, too. Somethings special going on with this color here - and seeing those office lights really makes both views much more than mere monoliths.

I feel as though I am in an archaeological dig. That's a very interesting light coming down - great textures going on in this monochrome color picture, pdh.

Christina, I had missed yours - beautiful macros and love the colors. Are you smitten?

Well, again I am late to the Ball with way too many great images to comment on each. All I can say is these are very inspiring.

Here is one of mine from my Canon G10. I call it "Highrise"

Thanks for looking, and good shooting,

Wow! That is exactly what I said when I first saw this - and I'm still saying it today! At first I thought I was looking down into a large vat of some kind... I like this picture for many reasons - the colors and textures...the subtle light - and also for its confusing nature. Does it really matter what we're looking at? Part of my mind is on "a need to know basis", while the other part just sits back and is able to enjoy it. I'm voting with what I believe is the right side of my brain.:flowers_2:

I don't know if it matters, but it's a spiral stairway. The shot was taken with the camera lying on the floor and looking up. I used a wired remote to trigger it.

I'm not really into abstract photography, but this image pleases me for some reason. I have it printed at 13x19 inches and hanging above my desk.

Being a coastal city, there are a lot of seawalls to walk or jog on. I took up jogging about four years ago and ran a few half-marathons. Last year, I stopped running for various reasons (photo hobby being one of them :). Seeing this jogger run past me along a route I've run many times reminds me how enjoyable an afternoon jog along the water can be.

Kevin, I used to run as well but stopped many years ago due to knee problems. Thanks for this photograph - and for your reasons for taking it. Nostalgia for that feeling of freedom rings true for me even now as I look at your picture.
