Black and white, or monochrome photos of people

Thanks BB and stratokaster, yes it was the M8. I'll have to look up Christine de Grancy when I get home.

The photo looks quiet and her expression looks serene but it was actually noisy as all hell let loose, it was the Chinese New Year celebrations. You can just sort of see the dance troupe on the left of the photo, the Chinese drums were beating very loudly and the dragons were dancing behind them. That's what I was trying to take photos of but they were in the way. I saw a photo opportunity of them instead. A few moments later they lit the fire crackers which were so loud that I had to put my hands to my ears and couldn't take any photos of the sparks and smoke.

stratokaster - your train photos are great! I caught the bus to work today but I couldn't bring myself to take photos but I remembered your photos.

AzPete - that's a really nice portrait of your granddaughter. She'll be keeping that photo for years to show to her own kids and grandkids, that's for sure.

At the bus stop

Hello, my name is "Raffy" (Raffles if you are being posh) and there really is a person on the other end of the rope, his name is "Bill" and I want to take him for a walk before he takes me to the pub.

Bill seems to want to talk to the driver so I suppose there's time to make friends.
