Nature Show Landscape

pdh, I really like the glistening light and the choice of toning you made. I can see the barest touch of green on the banks and hills across the river. Evening or late afternoon?

late afternoon. there's not a lot of heavy PP in this, just autotone, a little crop and wb changed to shade from daylight, plus I always tweak the contrast a bit ... if you look carefully there's the faintest hint of blue in the sky too ... I'm also rather pleased with this one!

taan, are you bringing us all these great shots with your LX5? Lovely moment of light there stretching out across the ocean and those light rays... Sigh. Beautiful.

I know I've put these up somewhere around here, but I guess not here and can't recall where (ahh, the hazards of middle age!). Probably some thread relating to winter, since that's what it was, is, and may be forever...
These are the first landscape shots with the Nex about a week and a half ago..

Yes, everything I do, unless otherwise noted, is LX5. But soon, possibly, I'll be getting a Canon D7, and I've now just got a super-fast computer, PS CS5 and LR3, so whatever I'll be using, my PP should shortly being far, far better.

I hope, in any case ;-)
