A suggestion for a series here on SC - a photograph a month?

Well, initially there was talk about a Photo A Month kind of group...but then it kind of went by the wayside and we created The Weekly Challenge. However, this is not to say that we couldn't start up a Photograph a Month group.

Here is the original post:

Stillshunter AKA Mark made a suggestion over on another thread where he was welcoming dixeyk AKA Kevin.

I'd certainly be up for a photograph a month. From my point of view, it could offer those interested a challenge to edit our own pictures for that month and help us see where we're going...and then choosing whichever one we want to add to that month.

What do you all think about this suggestion of Mark's?

If we have enough folks who want to do this, we'll need to figure out the How To and put it together - simply, I agree, Bill.

I would be interested in a "Photograph a Month" challenge. I just don't have the time to participate in the weekly challenges. My time now will be primarily spent on getting my car done while the weather cooperates.

Yes, we've been running it for several weeks, defektive and you are just in time for the new one. Rather than make it a monthly thing, it has morphed into The Weekly Challenge. I'm sorry that this thread didn't get updated... I guess we got carried away.

Thanks for the invitation BBW, I will definitely join in when the M8 arrives. I had an image I would have put in this week but I don't think the K-7 is classed as a serious compact somehow
