Nature Show "Flowers"

Hey Pictor, are you still shooting with Oly gear? Great shot, thanks!

Thank you, Herman!

Yes, I am using the E-PL1 a lot now. But I use it very often with adapted lenses like the Canon 100mm macro and the Leica Summicron 50mm. I would still like to own a camera which is not as noisy as the E-PL1 at base ISO, but I am sure there will be a solution for that some day.

Thought you prefer G3 to Pen !? I'm still looking for...I haven't found my camera...Ultra zoom...guess, I'm addicted to...OVF or EVF yes...manual operation of zoom lens yes...maybe a Fuji HS...size and weight matters to me...a lot...that's why I still take my wife's cam...a G1...but I also bought a DP cam...

Herman, I am very interested in the G3, but I will wait for the support of Lightroom. I will try to get and develop as many raw files as I can. If I get a significantly better image quality, I might buy it. Maybe Olympus will surprise me with a new pen. At the moment I don't want to rush and my advice to you is not to rush, either.

BB, the flowers in Boston and New York were almost perfect. I had to keep checking window boxes and flower displays because they just didn't look real!!! It seemed to me that they looked almost too perfect. I guess I'm used to our short lived blooms looking soggy and windswept in no time at all :D

I think you mean Christina's tulips, though I'd be very happy if I'd taken that photograph myself.;)

Christina, perhaps it was the lack of rain here? Though we're getting it now, for sure, and those tulips you saw must be long gone...unless they replant them during the night?!
