Fuji The Everything Other Than Street X100 Image Thread.

Well between all us friends here....
It ain't nothing to process like this...
The effort is after you do a few... to controll yourself from always doing it.

Ain't it the truth? I did an awful lot of it after I first got the new version of the program - tried to use it more subtlely than all-on / all-off and sometimes succeeded. I sometimes use it just to the point that you can begin to see it and then back it off a touch so you can't quite. Its like a dog whistle - you can't really see it but it adds a little something extra to the photo. Now I haven't used it in a while, but its nice to know its there.

Some actual landscapes! In color, no less! I found and rigged up a little optech case for use as a handlebar bag and took the X100 on its first bike ride today - it had a great time and gave my sorry old body an excuse to stop from time to time. I'm blessed to live in a town within cycling distance of a very pretty area and also a quick shot into Philly. So, over the course of a couple of days, here's the other side of that equation.

Maybe the rapture did happen after all - odd creatures now roam the earth:

With my first attempt at selective color. Posted it elsewhere, but it wanted to be in here with its buddies.

Very nice BB. With the control points it can be tough to get the color isolated to where you want it and not bleed over into other parts of the shot. Doesn't look like you had that problem - or you overcame it rather completely!

The Porch

Starting to get out now that the snows have left the mountain. Plants are making their way out too. This is a shot I have taken with just about every camera I have owned over the past couple of years from MFTs to the M8. There's an interesting "glow" that I'm starting to notice with the X100 in both JEPGs and RAW. I like it, sorta' vintage-ish. The shot is from a RAW file. Here's the X100 version;
