Fuji The Everything Other Than Street X100 Image Thread.

Hampton Beach, NH yesterday. Walking around waiting for the George Thorogood concert which proved to be well worth the wait.
ISO 320, LR, CS4 and Topaz B&W.

. . . David

Very subtle David - I like the repetition of the grid lines and those palm reading signs with that wonderful wisp of a cloud leading us up yonder. So glad to hear that the concert was a great one! I like listening to "Bad to the Bone" as I type this.

David the toning looks pretty good to me..and I don't mean that as a "not good enough" comment. I think if I could see it larger that it would help me. Good for you to make a print - that is the acid test!(y)

Gee, how exciting a bar fight! Glad it was just an "almost bar fight".:drinks:

Could we please meet there for tea, today?

I love the softness and light - and colors. May I ask what you used in Color Efex 4 and how you're liking it? Everything I've seen from you with it has been very good, Christina.

This photograph has an opulent but classic and cozy feel...with just the right amount of warmth.

I've made up about half a dozen "recipes" including this one. I think it's Detail extractor, Glamour Glow, Sunlight and a border. Probably a few fiddles here and there. I'm still learning! The Fuji took a pretty accurate picture in the first place. The shop window was lit with this lovely glow and I didn't really have to do much to enhance. I'm finding it odd that I'm such a sharpness/detail freak but that I really like this soft Glamour Glow look!

You would love Fortnum & Mason BB, it's just a really old fashioned kind of shop on several floors with beautifully packaged goodies of all sorts. There's a nice bar, a couple of restaurants and of course tea and cake!

Me, too, on the glamour glow and having that personal obsession on crispness! I also did a combination of Glamour Glow and Detail Extractor on the "natural graffiti" photo I think I put in this thread. I am thrilled with the new Color Efex Pro 4. You should definitely make it yours, Christina.

Yes, nice shot Christilou! My trial of Color Efex Pro is about to expire and I don't feel that I know it well enough yet. Will have to decide to buy or not based on what little experience I have with it.

Ray, I am so glad you took your X100 out for a walk - these are wonderful! Truly - it's great to see your color images and the quality is so good, too. I have to say that the Halloween one is pretty darned amazing - great fog effect!
