For this first pic, I experimented with lab curves, I tried to give it a sort of Kodachrome-ish look (well, at least what I imagine to be Kodachrome since I never actually shot it) in RawTherapee, which doesn't have RGB curves. Hope I got somewhere close-ish

These three all give me the real feeling of fall AKA autumn...it's the one season I always wish would last longer. Good going bartjeej!

A birch tree path along the saltwater Manursing Lake not too far from where we live. Taken about a week ago with my X100.

Not a nest at all, though it does look like it doesn't it?
You occasionally see this sort of thing in oaks, I suspect it's caused by some sort of damage or maybe a virus causing these odd growths - there were a few on this particular tree.
And yes - a tad of flash, something I never normally use, but just the effect I wanted ...
