Fuji Fuji X10 Sample Images

A very nice panorama, Jokka! Where were you for these two photos, if I may ask? It's wonderful that you were allowed to photograph inside.

Welcome to Serious Compacts, and please stop by our Welcomes and Introductions forum for a quick hello when you have the time.

P.S. Herbert (AKA Hyubie), I'll be looking forward to your impressions - and photos. I have a feeling you'll enjoy the X10.:D

Hi, those panoramas were made in the Royal Palace of Queluz near Lisbon, Portugal, where I live. I travelled several times to many European countries and most of the time is allowed to take photos even in Museums. For example in Rome that I visited 4 times and 18 museums I do not remember to obey any restrictions to take photos.

Thank you Jokka - I'd love to visit Lisbon one day and appreciate knowing where these palaces are. I am very close friends with a large extended family from Portugal and will mention this particular palace to them. That's wonderful that there were no restrictions on photography!

Hi, please do not assume that is free to take photos everywhere because there are exceptions e.g. the Royal Palaces in Sintra, also near Lisbon. I will try to post more photos very soon.

It finally stopped raining so I took a quick walk:

Thanks for the comments. (I need to be creative on that road, since I've walked up and down it thousands of times over the past 25 years.) Nice camera to use, small in the hand but handles well. I had a little trouble getting the super macro mode to focus sometimes, but macro was always good. At this point it's mostly practice.;)

Ok, had my first shots from the X10, and I'm loving the feel of it on my hands. :)

These are sample shots, so nothing artsy. Hopefully that famous Fuji color shines through. (Forgot which one of these were shot Provia/Velvia.)

So last night it was really cold in these parts, so what's winter for, if not for these, right? Santa should make us his first stop. :)

And, excited about how that Fuji colors will shine through, I fixed my eye on one of the more colorful spots in the house:

For breakfast, this is the before... (I think this was shot using EXR auto)

... and after. You know you have kids when the first bowl you pull from the cupboard are those with Mickey ears. :)

A shot while on the way to school (definitely Velvia. I think. :))

Lovely colors and details on all the photos! I was particularly attracted to the photo of the rolls, after they were baked. Maybe it was the Mickey Mouse bowl! :)
