Good luck Hyubie! You'll love the X10. Do pick up an extra battery!
A very nice panorama, Jokka! Where were you for these two photos, if I may ask? It's wonderful that you were allowed to photograph inside.
Welcome to Serious Compacts, and please stop by our Welcomes and Introductions forum for a quick hello when you have the time.
P.S. Herbert (AKA Hyubie), I'll be looking forward to your impressions - and photos. I have a feeling you'll enjoy the X10.
Thank you Jokka - I'd love to visit Lisbon one day and appreciate knowing where these palaces are. I am very close friends with a large extended family from Portugal and will mention this particular palace to them. That's wonderful that there were no restrictions on photography!
It finally stopped raining so I took a quick walk:

I like the beautiful girl in the back seat with the purple colors.. awesome..Ok, had my first shots from the X10, and I'm loving the feel of it on my hands.
These are sample shots, so nothing artsy. Hopefully that famous Fuji color shines through. (Forgot which one of these were shot Provia/Velvia.)
So last night it was really cold in these parts, so what's winter for, if not for these, right? Santa should make us his first stop.

And, excited about how that Fuji colors will shine through, I fixed my eye on one of the more colorful spots in the house:
For breakfast, this is the before... (I think this was shot using EXR auto)

... and after. You know you have kids when the first bowl you pull from the cupboard are those with Mickey ears.
