Micro 4/3 Olympus 45mm f1.8 Image Thread

Hyubie, I just love the photographs of your children - or children....yours or not. This unwrapping of the cake is wonderful!

Thanks for the always kind words, BBW, much appreciated. Work gives me precious little time to go around and shoot, so I go to the always-available subjects (and my favorite ones!).

I feel lucky enough to get this lens just before my holiday to Lyon(France), no photo at this moment in the laptop but will upload soon.. This lens is insanely sharp, crystal clear, high definition images, sharp at pixel level. Well done Oly!

I picked up a second-hand Olympus 45mm f/1.8 from a deceased estate, less than two months old and still in original box.

Great score Peter. Am I jealous....you better believe it!!! Did you know there was going to be Oly gear amongst the offerings?

First photos were from the work christmas party...

Ummm...can I ask where you work Peter, as it seems a pretty relaxed environment. I mean a nudist Xmas party is a novel theme my friend or is that an imposed part of the corporate uniform and regime?....or was it just Rhianne who turned up starkers...if so I commend how little red she has on her cheeks ;)

It came up on a trading post in the Overclocker's photography forum. Been a lot of MFT gear there recently. They guy died of lung cancer and he must have bought this just before going into hospital for the final time. Moral, if you shoot MFT, don't smoke.

Ha ha, you know with our cold Christmas days, strapless dresses are not that unusual. Now a nudie xmas luch would be fun but probably not the best from a photographic perspective.

You Aussie's make me laugh - nudist Christmas parties - at work, no less! I'd have to call in sick.;)

Both portraits look really good to me, Peter. I have to tell you that I really do like that portrait of you a great deal. Of the two it's my favorite and in addition I like it in black and white very much. Sometimes I miss not having an interchangeable lens.
