I love it!

Thanks. I just realized this is the B&W/monotone thread though - wrong place. My bad!!!

your truly, (me) - 60 odd years ago
I'm starting (slowly) to scan lots of old photos, (don't have the negs) - the original of this photo is very small and crumpled - but it is the earliest that I have

It would have been taken with a very cheap compact

Don has to be right on this, Bill. What a cute little fellow you were!

Your ocean scene - is that a spinnaker I see out at sea on the horizon? Lovely wide encompassing view. The lighting on the water and those dark silhouettes are really nice, Bill.

Thanks BB - what I'm after are some "Lowry-esgue" (L S Lowry) type shots - if I succeed I'll be happy and I find that using RF lenses is the nearest that I can get

just up the road from where we live
a splash of colour - normally it's not for me - what do you think
I could not get the tone curve quite right for my liking

There they are. I love this bathtub shot and the series in the color thread. And this B&W and the more shadowy one that shows up elsewhere. Really great stuff. Particularly the bathtub series...
