Fuji Fuji X10 Sample Images

Given the white blob problem one of my worries was that I would get lots of blobs when photographing water.
So far the swan image is about as bad as I've seen :)

May I suggest that we keep this thread focused (no pun intended) on images as Pepeye briefly touched upon? I believe tangents in a thread are common, but it can be distracting when someone wanting to look at photos in an image thread encounters pages and pages of posts without any photos. I believe someone started an X10 frustration thread where we can move this discussion to.

Thanks!!

Yes, it's about what those of us who have the X10 have used it to bring out - as art, as photographs, as documentary, as whatever each sees fit.

It may be that my posting here that I'd returned mine - for now - brought us off course. I apologize for derailing. I figured I'd post in here since only those of us who have used the camera might care.

Back to the X10 photographs, and again - please feel free to "double post" by sharing them on the other various image threads as well. :drinks:

P.S. nippa and Armando, I completely missed your two posts:redface: - forgive me! A beautiful swan with a trail of shimmering, reflected sunlight.:2thumbs: And yes, if people want to get into a discussion about the pros and cons of the camera, let's take it over to the https://www.photographerslounge.org/f63/x10-frustration-5174/ thread or, if it's more of a technical question type of thing - how about starting a new thread?

Thanks all!

He is definitely eyeing you, or your camera, isn't he? The depth of field and focus worked out very well, not getting hung up on the fence and the light and shadows look great, too, pepeye. Having that blast of sunshine in the far left corner add to the image and makes me go back and forth, in and out of the scene.

(Mea culpa, what have I done! I may yet end up back with this camera after the holidays!)

Yes, that is what I was wondering. I'd tried the EXR mode a couple times but had been following Ray's and flysurfer's suggestions which, if memory serves me, are written about earlier in this thread.

Can I bring mine over to play or sleep with yours, please?

I think I already posted this X10 shot in here but felt compelled to again due to your bevy of beauties! I'm in love with them all, Bob! Just FYI, my picture has self imposed "glow" due to some Color Efex post processing.

Very nice, I like the glow and you can bring your beautiful dog over anytime. Even though they are here all the time, only the two big ones are ours the two black pups, our our grand-puppies and actually belong to our daughters, we just get to babysit a lot

:th_salute: Thanks, Bob. Your daughter are lucky to have you as babysitters. Many years ago, I used to drop my dog off at my father's house on my way to work. It was great for all of us, as I'm sure it is for you all.

Love this picture BB, there's something quite magical about it. Like something from a fairy story.

Thank you so much, Christina. I was aiming for something less real....I could easily see it as an illustration to a children's book.

drd, it looks to me as though you had a good walk - the river looks as though it was running full tilt!
