maybe when we have quite a few images posted we can start to discuss this subject area, pre sets, Lightroom, CS4 or CS5, software like Nik and other methods that are available

This one came about from a mistake with the LX5. I guess taking it out of my pocket I pushed the focus to manual, and I ended up with everything out of focus. I played around with a little and this appeared. This is a small crop to show the swirls in the sky, I don't know where they came from.View attachment 977
ricks, that is rather cool. Those swirls seem as though they are thumb prints, but I guess that couldn't be. If you hadn't told me, I could easily have thought this was a scene from a ranging oil field fire!
Here's one I did a while back. Not saying it's a great shot, but it was just kind of fun/silly to create, when I got a bit carried away with the levels.
