Hello serious compact users,
I've been shooting strictly digital since I bought my first in '93. I've owned way too many digital cameras since then, but have settled on an Olympus E-PL1, and Canon G10, as my serious compacts. I'm still coming to terms with the E-PL1, but have committed to learning all I can about how to get the most from it. I've shot with mainly P&S until 2004 when I bought a Minolta A2 bridge camera. Bought my first dSLR in 2005 (Pentax *ist DS), and sold my last one (Olympus e330) this past year. For the type of shooting I do, the m.43, and high-end compacts seem to satisfy my needs.
Glad to see a site dedicated to these little gems where I can post both 4/3, and Canon G shots. Hopefully, I can be a contributor to the site, and not just a beneficiary.
See you mostly on the Micro Four Thirds, and Fixed Lens Digital forums.
Good shooting,
Otto...
