Ricoh Ricoh GRD III GW-2 Wide Conversion Lens Sample Images

Amin

Hall of Famer
I took the Ricoh GRD III out for a spin with the GW-2 (21mm equivalent) wide converter and was impressed with the performance of this camera-adapter combination.

Corner sharpness was very good and color fringing reasonably well controlled. It speaks to the quality of the GRD III lens that it holds up with a 0.75x wide converter attached.

Here are some samples from the afternoon, converted in the Lightroom 3 beta (click for larger size):

Had a look at the full-size jpgs on flickr and they are impressive. Sharp at the edges, which is not always
the case with converters such as these. Great colour too.
