I just saw the exif info :eek: it definately knocks the socks off my LX5 at ISO800, and the GRD was wide open at f/1.9 also :O I wonder how much sharper the GRDIV is as it apparently has a thinner AA filter...

Lili: I wish I could have a cat, I absolutely adore them... but life is cruel and I'm allergic :( Doesn't stop me from stroking them when I see them though :)

It is very good indeed with jpeg's, as here, at high ISO. W/O IBIS or OIS one must careful of camera movement however. So that is one advantage your LX5 or my XZ-1 has. It will take me a bit to get used not having that advantage.

That's a fantastic composition for a kitty photo - really incredible!

I wasn't sure if I'd ever included Hitler-cat in this thread and it looks like I never did, so here he is. Met him in a Jamaican Jerk Shack when I was down there in April, when the X100 was BRAND new. I think I'm gonna submit him to the Hitler Cat website and see if he makes the cut...

Not cute or cuddly - rather stern actually. I'm not a cat person, so I don't do a lot of these and never really show cats at their most adorable. But this guy needed to be photographed.

Jamaica, maybe an hour south of Montego Bay. Its a little jerk-shack, an outdoor restaurant where they serve jerk chicken, jerk pork, cornbread, etc. There are one zillion such places along every road down there. Will burn your innards half to death, but LORD is it good! I don't know if the cat lived there or lived nearby and just hung out there for the scraps. But he seemed very at home.
