OK it's December, time for seasonal images.

What a great set of images that remind me very much of the years I spent working as a Photojournalist in Berlin (1980 - 1991 left 2yrs after the wall came down), some of the happiest years of my life surrounded by great people who were friendly and fun - cold winters though with those Easterly winds from Poland.

Thanks! Yes, the christmas market in Esslingen is quite special. Definitely the nicest in my area (maybe apart from some local ones in the smaller towns - which have their own character).
The day we went it just started snowing, which always adds to the atmosphere as well. :) gets me into the Christmas mood every year...

Happy Holidays everyone! :)

cheers,
Tilman

Everyone's photographs of the season are wonderful! Ian since it's cold and damp where you are, as it is here, I think I'll visit via Tilman's snow dusted village scenes...look for some of that mistletoe, thank you Christina, and then go for a nice long walk up in the Pentlands, courtesy of you, Karen!:bravo-009:

There are some really nice images flowing in this thread. Keep up the good work everyone especially those in the snowy northern hemisphere. It is just starting to warm up into summer here but I would much rather be on a set of skis somewhere.

Nothing spectacular, but running around all day today getting ready for roadtrip tomorrow... at about 4:00 PM the sky was spectacular... low clouds reflecting salmon and blue. Walked out into the middle of a Connecticut cornfield and snapped this.
