    Fuji XE-1 16mm - 55mm Portrait B/W.

I agree with what you say Kyle. I use Leica for most of my shots especially portraits. The Fuji`s I use for harder sort of Photography as in some product or architectural shots. Like your shot of the girl, very nice.

    Fuji XE-1 16mm - 55mm Portrait B/W.

Yes Kyle, it is pretty much straight out of the camera. Brought into PS or Bibble (forget which one) for resizing but no tonal correction was done or cropping. I actually don`t like "PP" unless a client specifically asks for it. I don`t like using my Fuji gear for portraits, as I usually use...

    Fuji XE-1 16mm - 55mm Portrait B/W.

    I don`t mind this pic, but I know it could be a lot better. mmmm got to re-evaluate. ..........200 ISO, 1/1600th, f:2.0, @42mm. -33ev.

Leica Digilux 3...Still in love with it.

Good points Tony, I get what ya saying. Quite frankly I`m over FF, I just don`t have the call for it these days. I`m also over all the "bells and whistles" that all the new camera`s are coming out with. For me, I want a camera that can handle a good shot and I will do the rest and that`s it...

rbelyell (is ya name Tony?) I forgot to mention with your adaptor`s, this maybe a silly question, but, have you made sure you have a "FOUR THIRDS ADAPTOR" not the "MICRO FOUR THIRDS ADAPTOR" and for "D" lenses? I ask this because I have had the wrong ones sent to me.

One last example of the LC1, nice shot, shows movement. Those LC1`s really had it sorted and if they had have fixed the speed rating side of things with the noise factor, I would have keep it. At 100 ISO it was perfect!

Thanks mate. (kyteflyer) Its just that the stuff I put on the net for me, are only snap shots sorta..... I wont put my "Pro" stuff on the net, as they do get ripped off. Cheers.

Oh I forgot to add, reblyell, as far a the difference between the L1 and the D3 short answer... NOT much the newest firmware brings them very close together. Putting aside the all the known similarities. For me, the L1 is too cold in its colour rendition and too contrasty. The D3 is probably...

Another from the LC1. Again, nothing too special, standard everything at 100 ISO.

No, I leave my Leica well enough alone. It gives me exactly what I want ie; Leica pics. If I need what you are asking, I will use my other camera`s at which I may use the 'Metabones" adaptors (which I mainly use with Canon lenses) only but and I do mean BUT I like to stick with native...

Leica Digilux 3...Still in love with it.

Yes, you are correct. I had the D2 in mind concerning the ISO. Where I use my D3 the most is in BW's and when I pull out all the stops and really go for that perfect shot, I notice a significant difference, the D3 does give me an edge that Im looking for. (reffer to siste site) Either way, I...

Thank you rbelyell, yes I have noticed. There are some minor differences between the D3and the L1. I have owned the.... LC1,L1and the D2. I do preffer the D3. I aslo concede that the L1 is an easier camera to use over the Leica. I like the D3 for the Leica look in BW's the most. If I need...

Another one from the D3. This one was shot quickly hence the look on her face and just missed my focal point. Leica D Vario-Elmarit 14-50mm f2.8-3.5 1/50th. f.4. 200 ISO.

Here`s a quicky from my Leica Digilux 3 shot yesterday of my mining mate. . Totally in love with this camera, I`ve had for some time and it still performs as I want it to. No post processing. The lens I used is the stock lens..... Leica D Vario-Elmarit 14-50mm f2.8-3.5. Ex: 1/2500 @ f.3.5. 200...

G`day, thanks for the reply. The lens I used is the stock lens..... Leica D Vario-Elmarit 14-50mm f2.8-3.5 I did have the L1 and D2and loved them. They were just a bit limited in the ISO rating and noise therein. However the D3 is, for me, a complete camera. The ISO is very comparable to other...

I took the D3 out today for a bit of fun. I have a fair bit of gear , however, I just love using my D3. This is just a quick shot and nothing to serious. Still, a nice shot never the less.
