Day 2 with the 100-400 so met up with my good friend and he showed me a superb pond for shooting dragonflies, the X-pro2+100-400 proved itself a great combo for this and delivered some superb images.
We changed locations and I was able to capture a couple of images of dragonflies in flight.
I am not a bird or insect photographer so apologise if my decription is wrong.

Thank you all, the more I use it the more impressed I am with it and it is so much better than the incredibly capable Tamron 150-600 I use on my full frame (considering letting this go in exchange for the XT2 if it lives up to expectations, I need a lighter kit to carry).

Thanks Tom, it is an amazing lens and so fast on the XT2 - so much better than my previous full frame combo! No fully Fuji ad loving it in every way.

Thank you Mike, it is a superb lens on the XT2 and balances well - these are some recent images with it and all hand held - Lower Mill nature reserve There was a fellow photographer there with a Canon kit with a huge fixed focal length lens ( 300mm?) and all he did was wave it about and complain about not getting photos! he must have gone home frustrated and with aching arms while the Fuji kit nailed it!!
