I just read that Apple released raw support for all 4 X-trans cameras today. Of course I am on a road trip with only an iPad for company - so I can't try it out for a few days. Hopefully it will work reasonably well since I prefer Aperture and have thus far refused to buy any of the alternatives while waiting for Apple.

guess that means they will never support EXR... oh well, the jpegs are pretty good anyway!

Well, the new software certainly supports XF1, X10, X-S1. I didn't test other EXR cameras, but they may be supported, too. But since the support isn't perfect for all EXR modes, Apple isn't listing it. As I already said, I assume Apple is using DCRAW as a foundation for their RAW conversions.

Yes it does read raw files from the X10 now although the exposure is wrong on an EXR mode photo. Will try a 12mp file tomorrow.

HR files will be 6 MP, too. The converter simply takes half of the sensor information and tosses the rest.
