    The sunlight and blue sky belied the fact that it was windy and cold. The birds weren't having anything to do with the feeders. X-T1 + Pentax-M 50mm/1.4.

    I used to have a feeder like you have on the right. Mine fell apart over the course of a few seasons. Never had any wild turkeys in the yard, though!

    Are those turkey vultures, pdurand? I have not seen those in years although so many people around here complain about them haha

    I dont think so. The turkey vulture is a scavenger and feeds almost exclusively on carrion (Wikipedia). These ones feeds on bird seeds (sunflower seeds) and have a different look. They are wild turkeys.

    Ahh okay, thanks for letting me know. I am no good with birds. I know a handful of my favorites and the rest all look the same to me. lol
