I'm thinking of getting a diopter for my XPro1 and Olympus Pen FT.
I'm trying to work out what diopter I need for my eyes.
On the X-E1 and X100s I turn the diopter dial all the way upwards until it stops, and this corresponds perfectly to my eyesight. Does anyone know what diopter value this postion corresponds to ?

    Thanks !

I just checked my X100 manual. On page 19 it says "the camera is equipped with diopter adjustment (-2-+1m) to accommodate differences in vision."

Yes, mine says -2 to +1 m to the power of -1.
So in effect, it's an analogue version of -2, -1, 0, and +1.
So I'm wondering whether the full extreme, when rotated all the way to the top is -2 or +1 ?

The manual doesn't state, but, it appears down (-2) and up to (+1).

I have to do the same...all the way scrolled from bottom to top to make things "clear" in the evf.

If you've had a recent-ish eye test and needed specs then the prescription shows the dioptre values you need for each eye.
