Can anyone recommend a good one? I have a Yunguo 560 II that I'd like to connect via cable. Thanks!
Since any non-Fuji flash can't use TTL I believe that any dumb sync cable will work. I use an old Nikon SC-17 on my X100S and it works fine.
If not using TTL I think anything will work as Eric said. If you buy a Canon-type TTL cable it'll work with TTL with a Fuji flash as well. I use a Yongnuo Canon cable with my X-E1 and EF-X20 flash:
Awesome. That looks perfect and the right price This would work on my 6D too it seems. Thanks!
One thing I just noticed about the cable Jay recommends is that it looks like the flash can still be mounted on an umbrella clamp. Nice!
Yep, there's a little foot underneath the connector so it can be mounted on a hotshoe or cold shoe adapter
The only complaint I have is the direction of the cable; I wish the end that attached to the flash unit faced the opposite direction. With the tiny EF-X20 there's not much there to counterbalance the pull of the coiled cable so it is a little cumbersome to handhold off to one side. With a larger flash unit like the YN-560 II I don't think it'd be an issue because you'd have a lot more substantial grip and weight on the other end.
Off topic a bit, but I have to say I've been duly impressed with Yongnuo. For the price they offer some decent, well-featured units. I now have two flash units from them (including one that does TTL with my Nikons), a set of radio transceivers, and two TTL cables. Everything has worked well and consistently and they've been a good value.
