In many ways, I suppose this is a relief that the latest and greatest (X-T1) isn't about to be "upgraded".
Right now my extra cash is sewn into my mattress, or possibly buried in my back yard...so as tempted as I am by a new camera...I must resist. So one less thing to tempt me!:wink_old:
It certainly will be upgraded, just not that soon (but everybody knew that, anyway).
Most of the new features will be made available with firmware upgrades, so users of current X-T1 should not have to worry.
Photokina is in September, that's when camera makers usually announce new models with new features. I am sure there will eventually be a silver X-T1 for those who love the retro style. However, the next "real" hardware updates should be about the X100S and X20. Both have been around for quite some time.
