    Hello all,

It's been a fortnight since my X-E2 and 18-55mm was delivered to my door and I'm still getting used to it's extensive capabilities. My introduction to 35mm photography was over 30 years ago, the cold metal of a Nikon FE but I love the feel of the X-E2, state of the art but feels like a proper camera.

Just outside Swindon is a small village called Sevenhampton, it's claim to fame is the last resting place of Ian Fleming.

    Velvia setting.
    <a href="http://s34.photobucket.com/user/qxy63/media/Fuji/DSCF0587.jpg.html" target="_blank">http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d124/qxy63/Fuji/DSCF0587.jpg" border="0" alt=" photo DSCF0587.jpg"/></a>

    Same frame, standard BW.
    <a href="http://s34.photobucket.com/user/qxy63/media/Fuji/DSCF0588-1.jpg.html" target="_blank">[img]http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d124/qxy63/Fuji/DSCF0588-1.jpg" border="0" alt=" photo DSCF0588-1.jpg"/></a>

Fleming's grave. The latin inscription reads "'Omnia perfunctus vitae praemia marces', which roughly translated means 'You are rotting away now after having had a great life'.

Dave, many thanks for the translation on Ian Fleming's gravestone :wink_old:...as well as for your other photographs.

You might want to consider adding your next photos to either an appropriate existing thread in the Images to Share forum, or start your own within that section. People tend to keep an eye on active image threads and may miss your pictures in here.

I'm looking forward to seeing more of your haunts!
