Nice B+W images. The salt on the weatherboards looks like frost.

Hi Peter, love your work and processing. The subjects you post are also of great interest to me. I was born in Epping and lived in Chelmsford and Writtle for around 35 years so can relate to the areas you travel to. It's great to see images of 'home' as I now live in Oz (will be returning to UK for a holiday in Dec and will be visiting Essex for sure).

    Keep posting.

Lovely comp and tones. Great that the XE-1 did this conversion internally, I keep being amazed at how well these X-series know what they SHOULD be doing artistically, and then how well they execute it technically.

Peter, these are a great set of graphic images with power and style - Love them.

    Silver Efex pro for conversion?

Looking forward to the next set

Wow, cheers guys. Just a little pp in LR4,4, no sfx pro here on this. I don't do enough of this to be honest, and I know I should. The boatyard resonated with me immediately, the tones, textures and snow. I wanted to present what I saw so I am pleased you like them.
    Cheers
    Pete
