Whoa. WHOA. Those are very, very compelling. So little context, so much precise focus. Wonderful thought to controlling colors, and just extremely clean compositions. I'll look back at this again to remind myself.

Thank you kindly! Many were taken with the Zeiss Touit 50mm. Damn I love that lens. I took it to test, and ended up buying the damn thing, which was not part of the plan! It's short enough to be a really useful street and travel lens particularly when coupled with a 35mm (in my case the X100T although I also used the XM-FL) and offers instant and usable macro magnification up to 1-1, which is an improvement on the venerable Fujinon 60mm. Since I've been back I've teamed it with the 27mm as a really compact and handy 2-lens outfit. But - roll on the 23mm f2...

So the 23 f2 is coming? I've been away from the rumors. I honestly wish the 18 pancake would get a thorough updating. That's a lens I could pair with the 27 or 35 and travel with happily.

    Watch this space... ;)

I will be a very happy bunny indeed, particularly if in price terms it is on a par with the 35mm f2. I could have:
23/35/60 - the old Leica "holy trinity of 35-50-90
    and
23/50 - or 35-70 - the perfect (for me) two lens kit.

Another most excellent set. Look's like you had a wonderful trip. As well as furthering the relationship gap between you and your wallet. :roflmao:
