With my brand new black XE-2 fresh out of the box, I eagerly responded to a request for volunteer photographer for a new middle eastern restaurant in the neighborhood. Hanging out in the restaurant, getting to know the owner and his story, and having the pleasure of presenting him with some photos seeing his response was a joy. Not to mention that the XE-2 autofocus was spot-on 99% of the time, whereas I would have missied 40% with the XE-1. Any limitations are purely my own now. No excuses. Since my mac is out for repairs, these are SOOC without any straightening or any processing.

    DSCF0165. DSCF0053. DSCF0072. DSCF0057. DSCF0177. DSCF0187.

My first reactions: the ISO 6400 looks great and the PDAF is awesome.

Congrats on the new camera - it certainly did justice to the food.
