Oh nice... I always fancied one but they are not common here, nor that practical on our crowded roads. I've only managed one Jeep over the years - a 4.0 Grand Cherokee - but five Land Rovers ;) perhaps we should start a "cars past and present" thread...

I used to ride with a guy who built a 90s Land Rover. It was quite capable. A 4.0 Grand Cherokee has a lot of fun potential. But I prefer my Jeeps to have removable tops . I had an 86 FJ60 Land Cruiser that was a lot of fun. That thing was built like a tank.

A cars past and present thread could be really fun. I'll have to scan some film or take pictures of prints for some of mine.

Very Nice. I had a 69 Bronco for years. It was lifted with a transplant 4 speed. It was a lot of fun but parts got rare and expensive so it found a new home.

Me too. Miss that thing. 4:11's front and rear with a locker in the rear, 302 with the Granny NP 4 speed tranny, dual tanks and boy did it need them;).

That is really close to the setup I had in my FJ60 Landcruiser minus the dual tanks. It had a 24 gallon tank that got me through.
