    I was thinking of trading in my 35mm/1.4 for a 18-55, but you convinced me keeping it, showing these photos...

    Thank you both for the kind words. Rene I did consider the 35mm f2 but I love the 35mm f1.4 so much I just cannot part with it, the quality of images it delivers is stunning and while the new lens may be smaller and weather resistant, the original just has that certain something that I love and I am not willing to part with especially when the quality of image wide open and at f2 is as good as it is - Love it, keep it!
