An interesting little oddity this. The Thingify Pinhole Pro is exactly what the name implies - a pinhole lens. It is quite well made, and offers the advantage of a variable aperture using Waterhouse stops. It comes in Fuji X mount (other mounts are available) I stuck my X-Pro2 on my Sunpak travel tripod for these shots. Exposures varied between 1.5 seconds and 30 seconds with ISO set to L.

What using this little lens did reveal is that my sensor is filthy... I had to put in a fair bit of effort with the healing brush, and I have a new sensor cleaning kit arriving on Monday...

I don't for a minute think this is an everyday lens but it is fun to use and delivers distinctive results.

I am 1,000% sure my sensor needs a good cleaning again, but I ran out of pads.

This looks really interesting. I love the spooky vibe these photos have. I can see the pinhole being great on our cemetery adventures.

Definitely interesting, reminds me of early daguerreotype or calotype photos.

Somewhere I have an infrared filter... And a handy cemetery about half a mile from home... Watch this space.

...going to clean my sensor first though - and save myself half an hour in post!

    Dust.

My PecPad kit (including pre-made swabs on sticks) from DSLR days worked wonders on my all-black XT-10 which had a couple of stubborn hitchhikers.

Thing is, 99.9% of my photography is at full aperture. It's only an exercise like this that makes all that crud show up! o_O
