I was trying for slightly gritty with lots of detail... DSCF0446-Edit.

You got the grit and details ... Gary says to the man with the sharpest X100S in the world. Well done.

Sharp where it needs to be. You succeeded with the gritty look too.

thanks everyone. If I had one wish, it would be a screw on 1.5 tele adapter for this thing so I could take the occasional head shot and not get so much distortion. :)

A short to mid range tele would be nice to avoid getting in someone's face ... I hate it when the subject fogs up my front element with their breathing.

great shot. i love mine as well. one of if not the very best fixed lens digis ever made. a classic, and your shot shows why.

as for FOV, i find that my measly old x100(no S) captures so much detail that it easily withstands some pretty intense cropping. i often say to people admiring my X that its really a 35-85mm zoom! if you count the pano function, which i love, its more like a 21-85!
