I live in Central Oregon where volcanic dust is king. Since I hike a lot with my X-T1 and often change lenses in less than optimal situations, my sensor is filthy. What do users recommend for do-it-youself cleaning? I do not want to have to send my camera to Portland.

I don't know the answer but am hoping someone chimes in as I'm going to a very dusty and tropical place soon and would like to know too.

I use the same kit from my Nikon DSLR (APS-C) days; Eclipse sensor cleaning fluid plus APS-C sized swabs. The swabs have Pec Pads already mounted. It takes about two swabs per cleaning per camera.

I also use the Eclipse system. And a bulb blower. I am going to try out a gel pen sometime soon.

Grab a sensor loupe. It saves a lot of time when cleaning the sensor.

Turns out my neighbor makes Dust-Aid products and gave me a full complement of their products. Will report back on the results.
