What is your special X-moment?

This morning I was thinking about the special moments of my camera and me. I do not own an X-camera for a long time yet so I do have more Nikon special moments.

There has been one special moment (I call it X-moment) with my X10 so far. It was at the Normandy American Cemetery and Memorial. When you walk there, you realize that so many very young people - from a large number of countries - gave their lives for others at land, sea, and in the air. Seeing the almost endless amount of crosses makes one speechless.

What was your special X-moment? I am really looking forward to seeing your photos!

    Peter

PS: I do hope to post others when the next X-camera has arrived (but I need to make up my mind first).

Very sobering and thoughtful images, Peter - thank you.

And an excellent idea for an inclusive image thread!

All three of those images are indeed sobering, but the second is extremely striking, both from a subject matter and photographic perspective. Excellent work!
