    Now that the xp2 is out... would it be a smart decision to buy the xp1 at current discounted prices to get into fuji x system cameras?

    I have both, so I would say yes. However unless the OVF is really important to you, as it is to me, I would also look at an X-E2 which can be bought for roughly the same, has a more up to date processor and handling and with Firmware 4.0 it is to all intents and purposes an X-E2s.

    OVF is important to me as well

    I spend 90% of my time shooting with it

    How much better is the EVF on the XE2?

    Ovf is one of the main reasons why i prefer the xpro line. I have a lot of m4/3 lenses and used to shoot mainly m4/3, but ever since i got the x100t i've been using that and my m6 as my regulars. I was thinking about the pen f but the lack of an ovf is what really turned me off of the pen f. The ovf on my x100t is just a dream to use!
