X20 macro x 2

    Hi everybody,

    did you know that you can switch on the "intelligent zoom" in "super-macro-mode"?

    Just discovered it and wanted to share the information

    I didn't know it.

    If I am honest, I am not fond of digital zoom. AFAIK they use some interpolation algorithm to make the image bigger. You can get the same by software after taking the pic and Photoshop (or others) have resizing algorithms that can be better in quality.

    Probably, but the point is that "the image" will usually be more accurately exposed than a Photoshop crop, as the camera's AE will only measure the relevant (cropped / zoomed-in) part of the image. My issue with intelligent zoom is the lack of RAW support.
