X20 vs. X10 Dynamic range

    According to the release notes the sensor of X20 should out-perform X10 in most areas—especially in low light IQ. :) Anyhow, X20 doesn't have the unique HDR modes of X10 whereby you can expand dynamic range greatly. This was achieved by having one half of a pixel exposed less than the other half leading to 6MP high DR image.

    I wonder if X20 falls badly short in this. Does anybody have more info of the DR of X20? :confused:

    It will use the sam ISO DR as all the other Fuji cameras (or the X10 when not using EXR DR). We will habe to see how it performs in tonemapped shadow areas. Since low shadow noise is a X-Trans advantage, I am not yet concerned.
