Good morning from rainy Northern California!
New member, recently ordered XE-1/18-55 on its way from B&H in NYC.
I have been following your posts at the Fuji Rumors site and recently found and joined this
    group! Wonderful resources here!
A couple of quick questions if I may:

    * Do you know the publication date for your XE-1 Book?
(I have it on pre-order at Amazon.)
*Will it be available in a Kindle edition?

Looking forward to using the book as my go-to manual!

    Thanks!

I won't publish an X-E1 book before the next major firmware update. Till then, the current book about the X-Pro1 is 90% "compatible". Reader feedback from current X-E1 users has been very positive, not only to me personally but also publicly, like on Amazon. This will also ensure that I can include the telezoom lens and probably the pancake in that book.

    Rico,

Now when major F/W update date is set (23/07), how soon do you think we can enjoy the reading about X-E1?

I think Amazon is already naming a date for the combined E1/Pro1 book. I didn't look it up, though. October sounds realistic, I guess. I'll finish firmware tests by the end of July, hopefully there won't be much to change, then off to layout.

    Hello Rico,

I also just ordered the Kindle version. I'm looking very forward to reading and learning more about my XE-1. It is coming up almost a year since owning the camera and I have become so charmed with using it. Yet I still want to learn more!

    Thanks!

Great, I'm looking forward to your feedback. If you like it and can afford the time, please drop a review at your local Amazon site.
